As a Security Officer - Driver Entry Screener in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen people and deliveries, and complete routine patrols to support a controlled environment. You will remain highly visible, document security-related activity, and provide customer-focused communication with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Our agile, reliable teams lead with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and vendors as required, including verifying credentials, managing entry points, and conducting package, bag, and/or vehicle screening in accordance with posted procedures.
  • Monitor access points and inbound and outbound activity, document movements as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of property.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as entrances, staging areas, and perimeter routes as directed by post orders, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
