Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a fast-paced logistics location, completing routine rounds, observing for unusual activity, and documenting security-related findings. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and/or visitor interactions, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, yards, loading areas, and perimeter, looking for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and potential hazards.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors and drivers according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates to supervision and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
