About The Role

Summary:

The Treasury Client Relationship Specialist serves as a key point of contact for business clients, managing day-to-day service and account maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of Treasury Management products and services, and involves client onboarding, system setup, agreement review, and issue resolution. The specialist ensures accurate implementation and ongoing support of business banking solutions, contributing to client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

The compensation minimum for the wage range for this position is $23.06 - 25.65 per hour and will vary depending on what city the applicant works in. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve business clients with professionalism and responsiveness to meet their banking needs.
  • Assist in identifying and recommending appropriate treasury solutions.
  • Stay current on all Treasury Management products and services.
  • Prepare and process documentation for various account transactions (e.g., openings, closings, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and updates).
  • Maintain client accounts, including handling money requests, wires, ACHs, and special instructions.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Sales Officers and Associates to ensure proper onboarding and client training.
  • Install equipment at client locations and provide training on usage.
  • Support annual ACH credit reviews and coordinate with software vendors for system or client support issues.
  • Prepare proposals and conduct account analysis comparisons.
  • Set up Account Analysis accounts and review agreements for completeness and proper authorization.
  • Scan executed agreements into the bank's document management system.
  • Review account analysis statements for accuracy prior to month-end processing.
  • Enter service charges for Repo/Sweep accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

About You

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years previous personal or commercial banking, including CSR and/or teller experience required
  • Understanding of Treasury Management products including but not limited to Business Online Banking, RDC, ACH, Wires, Positive Pay and Mobile Banking

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General working knowledge of installing/downloading PC software and navigating through the internet and ability to problem solve issues as presented
  • Understanding of treasury products and services
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to make sound decisions
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. and ability to learn new systems/applications
  • Competency in or ability to learn core banking systems
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environment
  • Ability to gather, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to formulate conclusions and recommended actions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to communicate with auditors, regulators, customers and personnel at all levels

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions: Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

Mental Conditions: Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
