Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Vendor Management Compliance Analyst for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.

  • Pay Rate: $30.00/HR
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM, 100% onsite
  • Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor compliance, performance, and issue resolution
  • Audit and validate vendor invoices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contract terms and purchase orders
  • Analyze timesheets, scope of work, costs, service quality, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax requirements, and internal compliance standards
  • Partner with Procurement, Accounts Payable, project teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments
  • Monitor vendor compliance activities and escalate open issues through to resolution
  • Support contractor management processes, including supplier performance, safety, and policy adherence
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports, metrics, and insights to support business decisions
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and recommend process improvements
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements and risk mitigation strategies
  • Assist in strengthening vendor management programs, systems, and internal controls
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve audit outcomes
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to support program effectiveness
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience processing and reviewing high volumes of invoices, managing exceptions, and ensuring consistent application of billing standards across vendors
  • Working knowledge of contract compliance, vendor rate cards, and billing terms
  • Experience reviewing invoices against contract terms and purchase order (PO) scope, identifying discrepancies or incorrect charges, and collaborating with vendors, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain to resolve issues
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a compliance-focused environment
  • Comfortable operating in a detail-oriented role with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and process adherence
