Insurance Change Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed
• Resolve front collections accounts
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians' offices, and internal teams
• Answer calls, manage emails, and handle faxes efficiently
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and report concerns to the Revenue Cycle Manager
• Read and understand medical documentation
• Perform other clerical tasks and assist with assigned projects

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 2-4 years of experience in DME or Medical Office preferred
• At least one year of insurance verification or authorization experience required
