Rutgers' New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station Cooperative Extension
Department of Family and Community Health Sciences is currently looking to hire a Coadjutant Non-Teaching position. To support the Diabetes Prevention in Adults Umbrella Hub Project
The successful candidate shall provide professional services in project planning, facilitation, and documentation. Including:
1. Planning and facilitating focus groups leading to the assessment of billing interests to identify operational, administrative, financial, and technical barriers to Medicare billing
2. Coordinating meetings between project leadership and the NJ Department of Health-hosted healthcare provider meetings
3. Reviewing the toolkit and umbrella hub to identify gaps, alignment with
CDC guidance, and opportunities for enhancement.
4. Synthesizing findings, barriers, and
CDC-aligned recommendations as a written report to support
DPP sustainability, billing readiness, and program improvement in New Jersey. |

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Master's degree
- Experience in community education about chronic health conditions (e.g., Diabetes), using a virtual platform
- Experience in organizing and conducting focus groups, informant interviews, and creating required reports required by NJDOH

- The candidate should be familiar with OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Qualtrics platforms in order to carry out project work
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Should be able to reach out to communicate with various stakeholders in setting up the New Jersey Umbrella Hub pilot. The candidate will need to meet with the stakeholders, gather their input, and create reports about meeting outcomesI
- Independent worker needing minimal supervision

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Trained as a Lifestyle Coach to co-lead a South Asian cohort
- Have CITI certification in Human Research - Social / Behavioral / Epidemiologic Research Investigators
- Knowledge of any South Asian languages is a plus
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and publishing
