Digital Product Manager, AI/ML

As a Product Manager focused on Agent Platform Activation, you will lead the product discovery, onboarding, and expansion strategy for PPG's AI agent platform across R&D, commercial, operations, and support teams. You will define how internal users adopt, integrate, and scale agentbased workflows-driving measurable value, improving productivity, and ensuring seamless humanAI collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Activation Strategy & Delivery
    • Define the endtoend activation strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for the Agent Platform, covering awareness, onboarding, enablement, and expansion.
    • Develop personaspecific value propositions for scientists, engineers, commercial teams, and operations stakeholders.
    • Shape activation requirements based on deep understanding of user goals, operational constraints, and AIagent capabilities.
    • Translate activation strategy into prioritized user stories and backlog items.
    • Accept completed work, review increments, and guide user experience considerations that impact activation success
  • Adoption Programs, Playbooks & Change Management
    • Build and evolve activation playbooks, including pilot programs, cohort rollouts, inproduct tutorials, office hours, and "champion" networks.
    • Lead change management efforts, partnering with Communications and L&D to build narratives and training needed for organizationwide adoption.
    • Identify process changes required to embed agents into daily workflows across functions.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration & Technical Alignment
    • Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, domain experts, and IT teams to refine highvalue agent use cases, ensuring feasibility and data readiness.
    • Facilitate design sessions, requirement workshops, and agent behavior reviews to align teams on activation goals and constraints.
    • Provide content and key decisions for steering meetings as part of the functional AI operating model
  • Data, Telemetry & Integration Awareness
    • Establish and monitor activation funnels and platform adoption analytics.
    • Understand underlying data dependencies and platform integrations relevant to agent execution contexts.
  • Financials, Partner Management & Operating Model
    • Build business cases, capital applications, and value assessments tied to agent activation and onboarding capabilities.
    • Manage partner SOWs for training, prototyping, or external agentframework vendors.
    • Support development of the operating model for scaling agent use cases across regions and business units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
  • 5+ years in product management, data science, or AI/ML product roles.
  • Strong experience with AI/MLbased product development, usercentred design, and MVPdriven iteration cycles.
  • Proven experience leading activation, onboarding, or adoption programs for digital or AI products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40%.
  • Preferred
    • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in engineering, computer science, datarelated fields, or a scientific discipline.
    • Background in workflow automation, agent frameworks, humanAI collaboration design, or complex enterprise software.
    • Experience with Agile, SAFe, or similar delivery methodologies.
