Job Purpose:

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting various programs and initiatives within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. This role contributes to the development, monitoring, and enhancement of risk management processes while ensuring accurate and timely reporting to leadership.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and deliver reporting materials for Management and the Board related to enterprise risk.
  • Assist in developing agendas and content for the Credit & Risk Management Committee.
  • Support quantitative analysis projects by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Manage processes and information supporting the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform.
  • Oversee daily transactional processes for ERM, including monitoring queues and independently managing and resolving incoming requests.
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting and analysis tools to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide effective challenge to the first line of defense to ensure adherence to risk management protocols.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Job Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or other related field required.
  • 1-2 years experience in a risk management or quantitative discipline within a financial service firm required.
  • Some exposure to quantitative analysis or reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a continually changing environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and writing skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills - peers, management and external parties.
  • Must be a team player.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or other related field.
  • 1-2 years experience in a risk management or quantitative discipline within a financial service firm.
