These are the qualifications that matter.

• 2-4 years of experience in CAD design within manufacturing or equipment industries
• Working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD
• Understanding of food manufacturing and/or industrial equipment systems
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple projects

Additional Details

• Occasional overnight travel as needed
• Hands-on role supporting both engineering and sales functions

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong knowledge of equipment specifications, components, and applications
• Create AutoCAD layout drawings tailored to customer requirements
• Prepare accurate equipment proposals and pricing packages
• Partner with sales to deliver custom solutions for customer applications
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to assess needs and recommend equipment
• Manage quote support activities, including logging inquiries, tracking proposals, and maintaining records
• Process purchase orders, issue confirmations, and create job folders for internal teams
• Ensure proposal accuracy and maintain clear customer communication throughout the sales cycle
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers
