This role ensures equipment reliability, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, and productivity. The Technical Manager provides strong leadership to the maintenance, tooling, facility and utility teams, ensures adherence to Amcor's Safety Absolutes and Quality Vision, and cultivates a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capability, data-driven decision-making, and effective partnership with Production, Quality, HR, Planning, and other site functions. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises all Technical Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training of employees, placing, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Injection Molding experience is strongly preferred. Must possess a diversified background with strong technical, business, and managerial skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills..
