Intern - Airport construction

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has a position available for a limited-term, full-time construction intern to work on aviation projects in Grand Junction, CO. Starting in May 2026 and ending in August/September 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates
• Perform field inspection and documentation
• Program administration
• Technical research and writing

A valid driver's license may be required.

Successful candidates must have the following:

• Completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering or construction management from an accredited college or university

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Civil3D software
• Construction Field Experience
• Relative coursework

Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 hourly - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
