Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead contract management services for local business/product group/country, adhering to directives, instructions, and procedures. Each day, you will ensure execution of contract management activities in line with the contract management framework. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the creation, review, and implementation of the overall service start.

ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings. The Division's technical teams work closely with industry partners, delivering advanced solutions that support rapid growth, energy transition, and sustainability objectives. The Division's portfolio includes industrial circuit breakers, low-voltage systems, motor starting applications, and safety devices like switches and relays. Its Power Protection unit supports the world's largest data center companies with advanced energy-efficient UPS solutions. The Division's ABB Ability Energy Manager provides a scalable, easy-to-use platform that helps organizations save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.

The work model for the role is: Remote {#LI-Remote}

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that service agreement commitments are in line with customer expectations.

  • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities for improving the customers' operations and eliminating pain points.

  • Supporting preparation of tenders through providing input on possible service selection to meet customer requirements, in accordance with the operational capabilities of the respective service unit.

  • Driving team and process performance for contract services, providing feedback on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) achievements and routing customer feedback effectively.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in service contract management, operations management, or field service delivery OR Associates degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in service contract management, operations management, or field service delivery OR High School diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in service contract management, operations management, or field service delivery required

  • Experience with contract management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Demonstrated competency in spare parts forecasting and inventory logistics management

  • Proven experience with financial analysis, KPI tracking, and contract revenue optimization

  • Experience conducting regular customer performance reviews and supporting contract renewals

  • Experience in industrial services, equipment maintenance contracts, or technical field operations within manufacturing or energy sectors

  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $83,300 and $133,280 annually.
