Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Director of Radiation Oncology provides strategic and operational leadership for multiple Radiation Oncology centers, with accountability for clinical quality, patient safety, financial performance, and overall departmental efficiency. This role oversees daily operations and ensures the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices that support high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care delivery
  • The Director is responsible for optimizing patient access and volume growth, promoting departmental services internally and externally in collaboration with Marketing, and strengthening referral relationships across the organization. The role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards and maintains readiness for inspections and audits
  • In partnership with Facilities, Information Technology, biomedical services, and equipment vendors, the Director ensures optimal equipment performance, operational reliability, and continuity of patient care services. The Director also leads workforce planning, staff development, and performance management to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence
  • Working closely with clinic leadership and the broader executive team, the Director aligns departmental operations with organizational goals related to quality outcomes, patient experience, financial stewardship, and strategic growth. The role collaborates across clinical departments to support seamless care coordination, referral management, and effective communication throughout the continuum of care

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technology Technologist
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as medical Radiological Technologist And/or medical certified dosimetrist (MDCB) and/or Registered Nurse
  • 7+ years of experience working in Radiation Oncology and 5+ years of Leadership
  • Knowledge of outpatient Radiation Oncology Center
  • Project management skills
  • Clinical judgement and knowledge of radiation therapy, practices, and safety
  • Maintain and complete continuing education in applicable areas to ensure competency is maintained
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates solid basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; effective presentation skills; proven problem-solving and analytical abilities; and a consistently professional appearance
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Varian True Beam and Aria experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
