Salary Range: $71,307 - $90,000 The incumbent shall provide expertise in pursuit of furthering technology insertion initiatives in a tactically relevant environment with the ultimate objective of delivering accredited capabilities to the warfighter. Essential Job Function: The incumbent will be required to conduct requirements analysis, contribute to design reviews, develop and execute system evaluation procedures for laboratory/integration events, characterize/document anomalies, troubleshoot/verify system and subsystem anomalies, and document integration activities throughout the lifecycle of the product in a Science and Technology (S&T) environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and demonstration of military communication systems in test environments. Assist development of work estimates for new and continuing work. Develop and manage requirements for new products and services. Assist developing test cases. Support system test and verification procedures. Document deficiencies. Support installation and upgrades. Support business development activities. Share knowledge/expertise and insight to support planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies (as necessary). Negotiable location: NAS POINT MUGU, CA Mugu MCAS YUMA, AZ< MCB CAMP PENDLETON, CA Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High school diploma with 12 plus years of relevant experience. Associates/trade school with 10 plus years of relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years prior military or government/military contractor experience with tactical communications systems. Basic understanding of encryption management and RF transmission principles Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level clearance for continued employment Desired Skills: Five years' hands-on experience with relevant tactical communications systems Experience with tactical communication systems and secure communications networks, including loading, initializing, and configuring communications software. Experience in installing and troubleshooting aviation subsystems. Working knowledge of DoW guidelines for encryption. Previous experience with DoW command control and communication systems. Excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively (written/oral). | |
