Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch and Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you'll be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Talent Operations Intern to join our Talent team and gain hands on experience supporting both Talent Acquisition and Talent Learning & Development. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning how hiring, onboarding, and employee development work together to support a strong employee experience.

This role will spend approximately 50% of time supporting Talent Acquisition operations and 50% supporting Learning & Development coordination, with a strong focus on onboarding and learning delivery.

Key Accountabilities



  • Support onboarding initiatives by assisting with expectations and resources for hiring managers and new hires during their first 30/60/90 days
  • Help manage the learning inbox by monitoring messages, responding when appropriate, and routing requests to the right partners
  • Support coordinating and scheduling of trainings and learning sessions
  • Experience learning & development best practices and explore methods of creation and delivery
  • Updating and revising candidate communications. Talent acquisition file and folder organization
  • Assist with Talent Acquisition operations, including coordination tasks and project support
  • Partner with TA and Learning team members to ensure alignment between hiring, onboarding, and learning experiences
  • Support additional talent related projects and tasks as needed


Qualifications



  • Current junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field




    • Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, onboarding, learning, or people operations




Skills and Abilities



  • Ability to work in a team or independently, while managing multiple priorities, and effective prioritization
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willingness to learn new systems and tools as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.

The full salary grade for this position is $34,100 - $43,900. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $34,100 - $38,430. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
