*Customer Service Representative - Auto Loan Servicing* *Summary* The *Customer Service Representative (CSR)* is responsible for servicing auto loan accounts by delivering exceptional customer support, resolving account inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation of all account activity. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high call volumes while utilizing loan servicing and CRM systems.
*Key Responsibilities* * *Customer Support & Resolution* * Resolve customer inquiries by clarifying requests and providing effective *one-call resolution* whenever possible. * Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers regarding account status, payment options, and loan servicing questions. * *Account Management & Documentation* * Accurately document all customer interactions and account activity using loan servicing software and CRM systems. * Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * *Payment Negotiation & Solutions* * Negotiate payment arrangements by assessing customer circumstances and proposing feasible solutions. * Offer alternative payment methods and establish clear payment procedures to support customer success. * *Call Handling & Service Levels* * Manage a high volume of incoming calls while effectively multitasking. * Review after-hours voicemails daily and return customer calls within *24 hours*. * *Claims Processing & Recovery* * Process and file physical damage, total loss, and GAP claims with insurance agencies. * Negotiate claim settlements with insurance providers to maximize recovery and minimize financial loss. * Analyze claim data to ensure validity and compliance with internal policies and procedures. * *Performance & Goal Achievement* * Identify and assess customer needs to promote satisfaction and retention. * Meet or exceed individual, team, and departmental *daily and monthly loan servicing goals*. * *Feedback & Continuous Improvement* * Recommend service improvements by collecting customer feedback and analyzing customer needs. * Communicate trends and insights to management to support operational enhancements. *Required Skills* * Customer Service * Auto Finance * Loan Servicing * Financial Services *Qualifications* * 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably within *auto finance or loan servicing* * Strong phone etiquette, active listening skills, and customer-first mindset * Experience working with CRM systems and customer service tools * Ability to adapt communication style to different personalities and situations * Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization abilities * Bilingual Spanish *preferred*, but not required * High school diploma or equivalent *Experience Level* * *Intermediate* *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
