THE ROLE:

To assist engineers in execution of DOEs, implementing engineering solutions for continuous improvement on Lab equipment, achieving quality and cycle time, to meeting engineering qualification activities schedules.

THE PERSON:

You are self-motivated, having solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. You are a team player who strives to deliver results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to assemble systems from parts (motherboard, CPU, add-on cards, power supply, memory, HDD/SDD, etc.
  • Ability to configure computers with BIOS, OS install, and software installations (on Windows and Linux)
  • Networking basic knowledge
  • Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all lab hardware
  • Shipping and receiving computer parts
  • Support and troubleshoot lab systems
  • Testing systems using debug utilities/tools

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Good understanding of PC system architecture and operating systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair/replace motherboard, CPU, memory, etc.
  • Keep lab benches and racks orderly
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Python or Ruby scripting knowledge

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred
