TITLE HSC Building Manager JOB SUMMARY The HSC Building Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Health Science Center including customer service, facility usage and maintenance, supplies and equipment, and supervision of student employees. The HSC Building Manager regularly interacts with the public and supports daily operations such as touring guests and scheduling events. Work is performed with minimal supervision and evaluated based on assignment completion and outcomes, in accordance with University Policies and Procedures. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Associate Dean Interprofessional Education & Strategic Initiatives Supervises: Graduate and Undergraduate Student Assistants ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following:

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant management work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis. EXPERIENCE A minimum of five years of experience managing people and facilities is preferred. Experience in a university setting is preferred. Event and operations management experience. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position. This position will work an assigned shift and some evenings and weekends depending upon unit, divisional, and programming needs. All employees share the responsibility of maintaining information security and privacy requirements within the university by adhering to Federal and State regulations, and TWU Policies & Procedures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described in the Essential Duties and below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job including the ability to lift and move 50 pounds, and move and set up tables, chairs, and materials. Supervisors and employees should ensure that injury/accident reports are submitted to the Office of Human Resources and Risk Management within 24 hours of the incident.
