Summary
The Guest Relations Associate provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by managing check-in and health screening processes at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) facilities. This role ensures all visitors are pre-approved, properly badged, and directed to the correct location. Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying visitor status in the Visitor Management System, checking authorization in Epic, de-escalating challenging interactions, and supporting the smooth, professional operation of the Visitor Management Program with minimal supervision.

Shift times can vary between 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.
- Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.
- Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
- Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.
- De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degrees
- High School diploma or GED
- Area of Study
Experience: One year of administrative/clerical experience in a customer service environment.
Equivalency: A relevant Associates or Bachelors degree may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.17
