Inside Sales Rep (Internal Welder's Equipment)

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for performing customer service activities within a retail store environment, selling product to walk-in customers and proactively calling preferred and retail customers. The product focus will be on gases, rentals, and welding equipment and supplies. This individual will also perform the duties of a Cylinder Handler.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
* Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.
* Communicate by phone and in person with customers, sales staff, store managers and others, inquiring about and providing information on cost, ordering and delivery times, etc.
* Establish and maintain good customer relations.
* Maintain neat, clean and professional personal appearance.
* Coordinate with purchasing department any product shortages or outages.
* Ensure all administrative and accounting related procedures are strictly observed.

Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED required .
* CDL Class A or B; preferred, but not required.
* 1+ year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales preferred .
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to routinely lift 25-50 pounds and occasionally lift 51-80 pounds.
* Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion also required.
* Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and finger activities.
* Must be able to operate a forklift.
* Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Classification:
* Hourly, Non-Exempt Employee
* Full-time, 8-hour shift with additional time as needed.
