Professional who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. Uses professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Administers defined operational program. Analyzes and resolves operational problems of moderate scope. Involves administrative and operational duties on a variety of projects, programs and issues in support of Adult Critical Care. Assists strategy and program planning, development, administration, program and project support, and communications management; interprets, monitors and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures and provides administrative guidance to department leaders and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and 1 year of related experience and / or equivalent experience / training.
  • Experience in calendaring for a medical executive or related experience. Experience with graphic design, editorial oversight, business writing and production of professionally published materials
  • Experience with Qgenda
  • Experience with clinical scheduling
  • Working knowledge of common organization or research specific and research-specific computer application programs
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite, including project management tools (e.g. Planner, Loop)

Salary Information


The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.


Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
