$21.94 to $24.13 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central/Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library/Travels Countywide. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced paraprofessional work planning, organizing, and coordinating projects for the Library Services IT section. Work includes reviewing, verifying, and processing requisitions, orders, change orders, and Requests for Proposal (RFPs); obtaining quotes and state bids for library IT purchases; monitoring IT renewal contracts and IT grants, processing purchase order changes; assisting in preparing vendor of records lists; managing IT equipment inventory and surplus; and processing vendor complaints and assisting with accounts payable invoices.



REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience utilizing SAP, Microsoft Excel is preferred, along with an understanding of the IT environment and evolving trends, including cloud-based applications and security considerations. Experience working with Brevard County Purchasing Policies and Procedures, and Brevard County Contract Management is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. ln the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
