POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides strategic evaluation of category/spend information, benchmarking, and makes recommendations for sourcing strategy and supplier scorecard criteria. Develops category expertise, category management expertise, and market contacts, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders in all aspects of sourcing. Leads internal projects/programs. Participates in supplier negotiations, supporting senior staff, and leadership. Acts with authority with suppliers, business stakeholders, Finance, and Legal. Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
