Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering a set of defined deliverables which requires engagement from multiple teams for a project or smaller program. The ideal candidate will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to set standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables. This role ensures that execution and delivery meet expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable on-time, accurate delivery
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule
  • Support the creation and refinement of presentation materials including slides, executive summaries, and design/solution decks to articulate technical designs, plans, and proposals
  • Develop clear, insightful data visualizations to communicate current state implementations, operational metrics, and target state architecture or design recommendations
  • May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives

Requirements:

  • End-to-end delivery management across complex, multi-team initiatives
  • Project planning, scheduling, and dependency management
  • Risk, issue, and mitigation planning
  • Agile & hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean)
  • Agile tools (Jira)
  • Data Governance Protection & Data Management
  • Stakeholder communication and executive status reporting
  • Understanding of modern application architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud, integration patterns)
  • Ability to interpret technical designs, solution architecture diagrams, and system interactions
  • Familiarity with development lifecycles (SDLC/DevOps/CI CD)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and product teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication tailored to technical and business audiences
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, concise messaging
  • Executive deck creation and narrative development
  • Meeting facilitation and cross-functional alignment
  • Designing dashboards, charts, and visual models to communicate insights
  • Tools experience (Power BI, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, or similar)
  • Ability to translate data into decisions, trends, and recommendations
  • Leading without authority across matrixed organizations
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and driving consensus
  • Conflict resolution and decision escalation management
  • Prioritization, workload balancing, and resource coordination
  • Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ability to connect delivery execution to business strategy and value

Desired skills:

  • May have responsibility for a project and project budget
  • May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application

Pay range: $50.39 - $58.39 per hour
