What You Will Do:

  • The Electronics Technician will provide support activities for engineering, manufacturing, and repair.

  • Trouble-shoot various types of electronic equipment to component level.

  • Perform a variety of repairs from component replacement to extensive modification of analyzer equipment.

  • Assist in testing new products.

  • Maintain internal tracking databases.

  • Provide engineering, manufacturing, and repair personnel with information and feedback.

  • Assist with development of test procedures and equipment.

  • Provide internal feedback on common quality issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar field

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Proficient in use of equipment such as: DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope

  • Must be able to interpret schematics.

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude.

  • Detail Oriented.

  • Fully computer literate such as: Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, WinZip.

  • Operate in a Team Environment.

  • Technical Communication (Written/Oral).

  • Good personal presence/relationship skills with customers.

  • Eagerness/Willingness to learn.

  • Ability to handle loads weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Immigration sponsorship will not be offered for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any relevant experience in the following areas: Electronic assembly/repair, Solder Inspect/Repair, Customer Service, Knowledge of engines, and other types of reciprocating machinery

Physical Demands:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers, to pick, feel and/or inspect material. Employee would also reach with hands and arms as needed.

  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.

  • Work normally is executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
