Summary of Primary Functions: You will be responsible for ensuring concrete members are set in proper location by directing the crane operator and working with the rigger, assumes supervisor's role when they are away from the jobsite or not directly involved in the work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

  • Assist Supervisor with erection crew (8-10)

  • Measures member location, sets bearing pads or shims (depending on member being set)

  • Ensures all members are erected per design and PCI specifications

  • Plums the column with the use of a transit

  • Inspect welders and grouters work daily

  • Assist Supervisor running of the jobsite by reading blueprints for member location

  • Assist Supervisor with enforcing Tindall and OSHA safety policies and procedure for all Tindall employees and subcontractors on the jobsite

  • Ensures welder are following proper procedures and details

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor

  • Place pipe clamps on wall panels until panels are welded into position

  • Helps assemble, disassemble, and relocate crane, when needed

  • Make on-site decisions, safety decisions - authority to stop work if necessary for safety reasons

  • Procure from Conex necessary equipment or tools necessary to complete job

  • Obtain a welding certification

Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
