**IMPORTANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENT: Please include a cover letter and resume.** Hours/week: Temporary, part-time 20-24 hours/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 8am-5pm CST) BWBR is a full-service architectural and interior design firm with a team of approximately 170 employees. We have a diverse practice in a number of markets including behavioral, health care, education, science and technology, wellness and recreation, workplace, worship, and public sectors. BWBR is looking for a technology intern who excels as a team player with a strong work ethic. We are searching for someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and curious. Applicant should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess great organizational skills. Desired Skills: The ideal candidate has strong interest in the field of technology, is a quick learner who asks good questions, and can synthesize information and get to the core of a message (even when the subject matter is new to you). Candidate should be interested in/studying for a degree in IT Infrastructure/Computer Science or other related field of study. Due to the nature of work tasks, this work of this role will need to be performed on-site at our downtown Saint Paul location. Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Information Technology team on a variety of tasks to support a thriving hybrid and distributed workforce. * Set up new and replacement laptops and coordinate with employees to ensure successful deployment * Assist with new employee orientation for basic technology instruction. * Provide support and shadow for new and ongoing help desk tickets for a variety of end users, programs, and equipment. * Gather, document, and interpret user requirements and break down into resolving tickets, support technology development and training, and testing tasks. * Support tasks and activities for larger technology initiatives as needed. * Perform other supporting tasks as directed.
