Pathologists Assistant/Pathology Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our pathology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex specimens and utilizing advanced laboratory equipment. The position requires a commitment to quality and precision in all tasks.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: No weekends, no holidays
• Location: Will not float outside of the pathology lab
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience required
• Certifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited Pathologists' Assistant Program; ASCP Certification preferred

• Performing procedures such as frozen sections and handling high complexity specimens including mastectomy, APR's, limb amputation, nephrectomy, laryngectomy, radical prostatectomy, cystoprostatectomy, thyroidectomy, colectomy, hysterectomy, gastrectomy, and more
• Managing 30-50 specimens per day
• Utilizing equipment such as cassette labeler, Dragon voice recognition, loading tissue processor, Windows 10, and cryostat
• EPIC charting

• First time travelers are accepted
• Dress code: Any color scrubs or smart casual
