About the Opportunity
Are you an operations expert with a knack for leadership and compliance?
Dexian is partnering with one of the best growing California banks to find a detail-oriented and experienced Branch Operations Leader for their Palm Desert location.
We are hiring at two levels depending on your experience:

1. Branch Operations Specialist (for rising operational leaders)
2. Branch Operations Officer (for seasoned managers ready for higher-level authority)

This is your chance to be the operational backbone of a high-performing branch, ensuring everything runs smoothly while mentoring a team and delivering exceptional service.

The Role: Operational Excellence & Leadership
Regardless of level, you will be the point person for branch operations, compliance, and service standards. You will support the Branch Manager in driving growth while maintaining a secure and efficient environment.
Operations & Compliance

• The Guardian: Maintain strict control over branch security, cash limits, keys, and combinations.
• The Auditor: Review daily reports (overdrafts, large transactions, file maintenance) and ensure the Branch Certification package is flawless.
• The Expert: Stay ahead of all state and federal banking regulations and ensure the branch remains audit-ready at all times.

Leadership & Development

• The Coach: Train, mentor, and schedule branch staff. You are responsible for their operational development and success.
• The Manager: Handle performance assessments, manage timecards, and resolve employee concerns.
• The Example: Model superior customer service and professionalism for the entire team.

Client Service

• The Problem Solver: Handle escalated customer issues with diplomacy and speed.
• The Banker: Assist with opening new accounts, teller duties, and complex transactions when needed.

Level Distinction: Which Role is for You?
Option A: Branch Operations Specialist

• Focus: Operational guidance, staff training, and support.
• Team Size: Manages up to 2 employees.
• Scope: Focuses on internal operations, approvals, and supporting the Branch Manager.

Option B: Branch Operations Officer

• Focus: High-level leadership, sales integration, and business development.
• Team Size: Manages up to 5 employees.
• Scope: Acts as the second in command. You will lead sales programs, engage in outside calling and business prospecting, and manage all client matters in the Branch Manager's absence.

Qualifications
For Branch Operations Specialist:

• Experience: 5+ years in banking; 2+ years in operations; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Skills: Proficiency in banking software and MS Office.

For Branch Operations Officer:

• Experience: 8+ years in banking; 4+ years in operations; 4+ years in a supervisory role.
• Skills: Strong background in business development and sales leadership.

Required for Both:

• Location: Must be local to Palm Desert, CA.
• Certifications: Notary Public is highly preferred.
• Community: Willingness to participate in community volunteer hours (paid time).
