Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6:00am to 6:15pm.

Job Description:

The Assembly & Test Technician II performs skilled production tasks in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, monitoring and optimizing processes, and supporting engineering teams with experiments, data collection, and continuous improvement efforts. The Technician II also contributes to team capability by coaching and guiding less experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Operations

  • Perform a variety of production activities within a cleanroom environment, following established procedures and safety protocols.

  • Use specialized systems and software programs to track, control, and document components as they move through the production process.

Equipment Setup, Calibration & Maintenance

  • Set up and calibrate manufacturing equipment to meet operational specifications.

  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure uptime, repeatability, and optimal performance.

  • Identify equipment irregularities, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues to engineering or maintenance teams.

Process Monitoring & Optimization

  • Collect, review, and evaluate equipment and process data to perform online adjustments that support process stability and optimization.

  • Maintain accurate logs, charts, and documentation related to production performance, equipment conditions, and process parameters.

Engineering & Experimentation Support

  • Partner with engineers to conduct tests, trials, and experiments aimed at improving yields, enhancing processes, or supporting new product development.

  • Provide observations, feedback, and data to enable effective rootcause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

Coaching & Team Development

  • Provide guidance, informal coaching, and tasklevel training to lowerlevel technicians to support skill development, teamwork, and operational consistency.

  • Promote adherence to safety, quality, and procedural standards across shifts.

Work Environment:

  • Work performed primarily in a cleanroom manufacturing setting, requiring adherence to gowning and contaminationcontrol procedures.

  • Role may involve frequent standing, repetitive hand motions, and handling small or delicate components.

  • May require exposure to chemicals, specialty tools, microscopes, or precision measurement equipment.

Pay Range:

$22.10 - $29.03

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $22.10 and $29.03 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
