Junior Network Engineer

Job Title: Junior Network Engineer

Location(s): Albany, NY

Job Description:

• This role is 100% onsite at the client locations.
• This person must be able to "hit the ground running", I don't have the luxury of training or providing a long ramp-up.

• Must have some (~3 yrs) experience working with networks and must be familiar with network terminology, protocols, technology (SW and HDW), architecture, and access.
• Cisco Routing & Switching, Client, and WiFi are the most needed skills.

• CCNA preferred but not required.
• Must be familiar with network terminology, protocols, technology (SW and HDW), and architecture.

• We would like to see a history of working in a NOC or Network Support Team.

• Possibly to Tarrytown, NY / Very little, maybe 2-3 time a month, if that much. It would be an exception.

• Albany New York / The position will cover the Albany/Troy/Rensselaer NY areas.

• Standard work week + on call + incident response.
