Job Description: The Instrumentation Support Service group (ISS) is looking for a first shift, UAW represented technician who will be responsible for supporting maintenance and upgrades of all computer hardware and software required to support dynamometer testing. The Technician will also be responsible for network troubleshooting, connectivity checks and data communications issues as well as hardware and software troubleshooting and computer repairs. The Instrumentation Technician will also need to be able to assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting problems in the field associated with dyno drives, dyno controllers, and associated equipment and instrumentation. The Instrumentation Technician will be required to work effectively with all levels of management, support engineers, union represented employees, and outside suppliers to maximize available runtime of test cells; including recommendation of modifications and root cause analysis.
