Job Title: Compliance Analyst

Division: Compliance

Key Relationships: U.S. Regulatory and Compliance team, Underwriting, Partner Engagement, Claims, UCO, UA, Operations, IT, Data

Job Summary: Maintain broker and adjuster onboarding and licensing within the compliance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and action broker and brokerage onboarding, appointment, and licensing related queries.
  • Maintain broker licensing data, correct broker licensing data, and submit data reports to the states. Review data submissions to ensure correct information is provided. Coordinate with external parties for data as needed.
  • Onboard and offboard brokers as instructed by Partner Engagement.
  • Implement changes to systems as needed and work with IT and data to ensure changes are optimized.
  • Manage and maintain broker agreements and relevant files and document management systems.
  • Maintain internal documents and spreadsheets. Help build compliance databases, FAQs/trainings and other tools.
  • Assist in regulatory and compliance reviews of current procedures.
  • Liaise with Information Technology, Data, Partner Engagement, Finance, Underwriting, Claims and other departments as needed to work on projects, share information, and implement processes.
  • Knowledge of advanced software Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based technologies (Highgear, SIRCON, Dynamics, BeazleyPro, NIPR, CRM).
  • Work on projects and tasks as assigned by manager.

Education and Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience, paralegal qualification is preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
  • Team worker as well as able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze data
  • Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook. Highgear, SIRCON, Dynamics, BeazleyPro, NIPR, CRM experience is a plus.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and successfully managing demands across them
  • Knowledge of insurance industry preferred, specifically insurance producer, underwriter, and adjuster licensing

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual's location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
