What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to address enterprise risks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to determine risk appetite and tolerance levels and communicate those to all lines of business.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, analyze emerging risk trends to provide actionable insights, and lead the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  • Ensure continuous process improvement based upon internal and external risk environments in collaboration with other departments/business lines through review and evaluation of risks and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits related to risk management.
  • Monitor and report on the bank's risk exposure and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management practices and awareness.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • 5-7 years of experience in risk management within financial services (required).
  • Strong knowledge of operational, third-party, and model risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the three lines of defense model.
  • Proven ability to independently assess risk, identify control gaps, and drive remediation.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary: $96,000 - $155,000/YR, plus strong bonus potential.

  • 401(k) plan with employer match.

  • Paid parking and transportation benefits.

  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including:

    • Health savings accounts (HSA)

    • Flexible spending accounts (FSA)

    • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Generous paid time off and bank holidays.

  • Access to training and professional development programs.

  • Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.
