Within Anaplan's Finance Center of Excellence asa Principal Product Manager - Finance Applications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping applications for planning, forecasting, and reporting use cases, and will be responsiblefor overseeing the product lifecycle of specific applications, from concept to delivery.You will collaborate withApplication Solutions Architects and Finance Product Management teams,guide andadviseour Application Builders Team,and ensurethe successfuladoption andimplementation of these applicationsby ourGTM and Professional Services teams.

This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, results-driven product manager to drive Anaplan's Finance solutions. The role requires proven application product management expertise, the ability to optimize processes, rigorous attention to detail and deadlines, and outstanding communication and presentation skills,

Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate definingand managingthevision, strategy, and roadmap forspecificFinanceApplications targeting the office of the CFO.


  • Drive the deliveryof Finance Applicationsincorporating thesuite of Anaplan platform components (including model and UX building,Application Framework, AI,user management, dataintegration, reporting,forecasting, etc.) by:


  • Gathering and prioritizing application requirements from internal/external SMEs and customers.


  • Documentingand managingtheapplication design, resourcing, workplan and critical paths,fromapprovalto delivery;Ensuring adherence to best practices,application buildingstandards, and project timelines.


  • Collaborate with Anaplan QA Teams to develop test plans, automate testing processes, andidentifyand resolve defects.


  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of Finance Applications.


  • Partner with Anaplan's Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Finance Applications into Anaplan's GTM motion by:


  • Supporting the creation of compelling conceptual demos and all supporting content including training, guides, play books to empower partners and internal teams.


  • Creatingandmaintainingcomprehensive documentation forFinanceApplications, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance,Computer Science,Information Systems,Business, orrelatedfield. Advanceddegreepreferred.


  • Proven experience in product management and application development, with a focus onfinance-relatedsoftware solutions.


  • Strong understanding of financial planningprocesses, methodologies, and systemswith domainexpertiseinfinancial planning and analysis (FP&A)


  • Experience buildingmulti-dimensional planning models,ideallyon theAnaplan platform.


  • Experienceworkingwithcross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.


  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Base Salary Range:
$152,000 $219,000 USD
