Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, control restricted access areas, and support established movement procedures for staff, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Support order at the location by following post orders, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and assisting with de-escalation and incident response in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
