| Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a part-time Honors Hub Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Education in the School of Engineering. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Enrichment Programs and supports a range of responsibilities.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Assists with the management of the application process for enrichment programs, the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of student leaders for enrichment programs, and help with faculty collaboration with enrichment programs.
- Provides information and assistance to incoming and active engineering students, which requires knowledge of the curriculum, other requirements, and processes.
- Coordinates activities and events for assigned enrichment programs, help to process and institute improvement, and is responsible for making room reservations, submitting purchase orders, and placing student staff on payroll.
- Plans and executes enrichment program events, assignments, and tasks while supporting program operations through data collection, analysis, entry and retrieval, database maintenance, and the creation of forms and graphics using a variety of software tools.
- Responds to enrichment program emails and phone calls, broadcasting announcements on Canvas, interacting with the University community, students, prospective students, and external stakeholders, ensuring friendly, accurate, and timely communication.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two years of relevant experience in program coordination, student services, or an administrative function within an educational or organizational setting.

- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and data management systems, including

- Exhibits knowledge and understanding of program coordination, event planning, organization, facilitation, and report analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, reports, and outreach materials. Shows experience or capacity in promotion and outreach efforts, including communicating program opportunities and supporting recruitment initiatives.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
