Job Description:

One of Fortune's Best Places to Work, Perkins Coie, LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join the Environmental, Energy and Resources group in the San Francisco office. We are seeking an associate to support our Chambers-ranked California land use practice. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the following areas:

1. California Planning and Zoning Law, including preferably representing applicants in seeking entitlements for residential and commercial projects;

2. Substantive experience under the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA"), including reviewing and comment on CEQA documents and familiarity with streamlining concepts;

3. Knowledge of the Subdivision Map Act and California housing development laws, including the Housing Accountability Act, the Density Bonus Law, SB 330, etc.;

4. Familiarity with fundamental real estate transactional documents, including easements and leases and the ability to perform basic title review.

Compensation range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
