Job Title: Sourcing & Supply ChainInternship program Role Overview The primary goal of this role is to strengthen our supply chain resilience byreducing our Supply Risk exposure. Byexecutingsingle-source mitigationstrategies,maintainingvisibility ofcontractual statuses, and developingsupplier risk scores. Key Responsibilities Single-Source Mitigation:Identifycritical components dependent on a single supplier; support the sourcing and validation of alternative sources to ensure business continuity. Contract Status Management:Monitor and update the status of active contracts, ensuring terms and conditions align with company goals and alerting stakeholders to upcoming renewals. Supplier Risk Scoring:Assistin the creation and updating of supplier scorecards, integrating financial, operational, and compliance data to assign objective risk scores. Business Reviews:Prepare analytical materials and performance reports for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key strategic suppliers. Proactive Asset Monitoring:Implement tracking processes for critical equipment, machinery, and tooling at supplier sites to prevent production downtime and ensure maintenance compliance. Qualifications & Requirements Technical Skills: AdvancedproficiencyinMicrosoft Excel(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization). Stretch:Familiarity withERP systems(e.g., SAP, Oracle) orBI tools(Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus. Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Finance, and Logistics). Metricof success: Ensure Sourcing Dashboard monitors: 1. Reduce Supplier Risk below 3 out of 4 via: * Monthly Maintenance of DGSsmartsheetsupplier risk * Single/Sole-Source mitigation: Create 80/20 strategy with mitigation plan for sole/single risk. * Contract Status:Support100% coverage. 30 Contracts in scope for 2026 2. Supplier Business Reviews * Supplier Risk Score: Develop SBR dashboard and RAILs from SBR sessions and incorporate it into Sourcing Dashboard tool. The goal is to have supplier's scorecards in Power Bi 3. Proactive Tooling Monitoring dashboard: Equipment, Machine, Tooling registered in oracle and Power Bi with actionable plan.
