*Location: *Bel Air, MD *Pay Rate: *$21.00-$23.00 per hour (flexible based on experience) *Schedule: *Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM *Duration:* 6month contract with strong potential for permanent hire *Workplace Type: *Fully onsite *About the Role* We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to support a busy pediatric physician practice located in Bel Air, MD. This role plays a key part in front desk operations and patient support, serving as a primary point of contact for patients, families, and providers. The ideal candidate is customerservicedriven, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fastpaced clinical environment. This position offers longterm growth potential within a supportive healthcare setting. *Work Environment* This role supports a pediatric practice within a large medical pavilion (Pavilion II). The position involves frequent interaction with providers, staff, patients, and families, requiring a high level of professionalism. Onsite parking is available. Scrubs may be worn in any color or design, provided they are clean and professional. *Key Responsibilities* Schedule patient appointments and manage highvolume provider calendars. Answer incoming calls and route messages or inquiries appropriately. Greet and check in patients while delivering excellent customer service. Verify insurance information and collect required patient documentation. Maintain accurate patient demographics and records. Enter patient information and documentation into the EMR system. Support daily front desk and clerical operations. Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. *Required Skills & Experience* High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative or frontdesk role. Strong EMR/EHR experience (Epic preferred). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation. Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment. Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong attendance. Preferred Experience Pediatrics experience. Physician practice support. Patient access or front desk experience. Experience collecting demographics or documenting in EMRs. *Compensation & Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00-$23.00 per hour. Eligibility for benefits depends on employment classification and length of service.
