Job Summary: The Interim Marketing Consultant provides leadership and oversight of marketing operations on a contract basis. This role manages marketing strategy execution, oversees campaign development, and ensures alignment with business objectives and brand standards. The Interim Marketing Leader may supervise marketing team members and external resources, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This position serves as a key resource for strategic planning, brand management, communications, and performance analysis, supporting clients through periods of transition or increased workload. This role may work a sporadic and fluctuating schedule. Job Duties:
- Oversees day-to-day marketing operations, including campaign execution, content development, and brand management
- Manages the planning and delivery of marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution
- Develops and reviews marketing plans, reports, calendars, and supporting materials
- Ensures alignment with brand standards and applicable marketing and communications requirements
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and leadership on marketing initiatives
- Develops, implements, and monitors marketing processes, procedures, and best practices
- Assists with strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and marketing performance analysis
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance marketing efficiency and impact
- Communicates marketing insights, recommendations, and progress updates to client leadership
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, required
- Master's degree in Marketing or Communications, preferred
Experience
- Five (5) or more years of progressive marketing experience, required
- Two (2) or more years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferred
- Experience in professional services or consulting environments, preferred
- Experience with interim or contract marketing leadership assignments, preferred
License(s)/Certification(s)
Software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and content management platforms, preferred
