The Mercer Area School District is accepting applications of candidates for a year-long substitute teaching position in the area of Family and Consumer Science.

This is a long-term substitute teacher position beginning on August 21, 2026 for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates must have certification in K-12 Family and Consumer Science Education.

Expertise in the area of secondary Family and Consumer Science is preferred.

Mail a letter of interest, standard PA application, resume, copy of certificate, transcripts, and Acts 34, 114, 151 and 126 clearances/training to the following address:
