We're looking for a motivated and skilled Transportation Civil Project Engineer ready to make a lasting impact across Hawaii. In this role, you'll play a key technical role on exciting projects ranging from highways and roadways to waterfronts and aviation infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Design roadway alignments, profiles, utilities, and drainage systems
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Perform advanced engineering calculations and craft clear technical reports
- Support construction with on-site inspections, RFI responses, and submittal reviews
- Lead small to mid-size tasks independently and serve as a technical expert
- Help grow client relationships in Hawaii and across the Pacific Region

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Hawaii PE License strongly preferred or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3d, and Microsoft Office Programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Preference given to local candidates.

- Previous experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design

Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. - Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
- MS Office knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience should include urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout and CAD base alignment plans
