TheManager,Financeprovides supportand manages resources across different regions, thisincludes, but is not limited to financial reporting and control, income management, debt management,submittinginvoices for payment for Accounts Payable and accurately billing clients for servicesrendered.ThisManageris also responsible for overseeing the functions performed bytheAccounting Assistant, Financial Analysts,and otherassigned financialstaff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


TheManager, FinancehelpsOperational leadershipmake financial decisions by supporting the following activities:




  • Developing financial strategies:Analyzerevenue, expenses, investments, and risks to create a financial strategy






  • Perform analytical reviews of financial information toidentifytrends/opportunities






  • Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs and capabilities






  • Work with Operations team to develop Budgets and Forecast for Financial performance






  • Create forecasts:Use historical data to create forecasts






  • Reporting of actual results and analysis vs. plan






  • Assistoperationsregardingcost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities






  • Prepare reports:Create reports to explain financial recommendations to senior management






  • Play a significant role in theaccurateandtimelypreparation of internal financial reporting and analysis. Analyzes records of present and past operations,trends,and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.






  • Publish periodic financial reports, including but not limited to accounts payable, freight and consumable metrics, to provide department owners and leadership visibility to financial results






  • Set goals:Help set financial goals and create a roadmap to achieve them






  • Participate in special projects asrequired, including process improvement and financial tools development and implementation.






  • Management of financial process improvements, Key PerformanceIndicatorsand tracking of strategic initiatives






  • Support of various internal and external financial and system audits






  • Manage resources:Manageand develop assignedresources effectively






  • Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved ina timelyandaccuratemanner






  • Ensure swift payment of invoices






  • Collect and confirm accuracy of all charges and expenses for a file to be billed






  • Manage Accounts Payable process: coordinate purchasing and tracking of vendor invoices through the system and associated revenue accruals






  • Financial: Month-end close responsibilities: journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, budgetary support for cost centers and ad hoc analysis






  • Prepare month-end journal entries - focused on cost accruals






  • Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model






  • Attend meetings asrequired,documentation& distributionof meeting minutes, etc.






  • Managesensitive and confidential information in a professional, mature,discreet,and secure manner






  • Create anddisseminatevarious communications & reports






  • Creates or Assists with the design and development of presentations






  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers & others on behalf of site management






  • Identifyopportunities:Identifywhen and howoperationscanoptimizetheir assets and investments






  • Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessment and other ad-hoc analysis in support of the business






  • Scheduling and meeting with vendors to ensure competitive pricing is maintained




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Responsible forperformance management ofAccounting Assistant and Financial Analysts and other assigned financial staff members






  • Ensures training and development ofteam members




SKILLS & ABILITIES


Education& Experience:




  • ABachelor'sdegree isrequired, preferably within the area of Accounting or Finance






  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting, FP&A or finance experience isrequired






  • Minimum of 3 yearsin supervisingdirect reports




Computer Skills:




  • Candidate mustpossessintermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsrequired(i.e.,Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions)




Certificates & Licenses:N/A


Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal)


Mathematical Skills




  • Strong Math skills(emphasis on financial and accounting applications)with focused attention to detail




Other Skills




  • The candidate mustpossessthe ability to partner with associates at all levels of theorganization






  • Effective communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills arerequired






  • This position requiresan initiative-takingindividual with strong analytical skills, intellectualcuriosity,and proven leadershipskills
