Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Palmyra, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related concerns, and support site personnel with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an industrial chemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes in accordance with location policies and operational requirements.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and communication with site personnel regarding security-related issues, hazards, and/or operational disruptions observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
