Job Title - Attorney

Location - Montgomery, AL, on-site

In this role, you will provide legal advice as needed for day-to-day business operations, engage and act as a liaison to outside counsel as required, as support the company's litigation efforts. You'll do this by:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating legal agreements and documents, including owner contracts, subcontracts, settlement agreements, company policies and procedures, employment agreements, and other legal documents.
• Performing legal research and offering legal advice to project teams regarding relevant laws and regulations affecting the company business in order to inform business decisions and mitigate risk.
• Reviewing, drafting, and editing correspondence with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and other third parties.
• Coordinating with outside counsel to assist the company in the preparation, pursuit, and defense of claims in arbitration, mediation, litigation, investigations and other matters.
• Coordinating and managing responses to document discovery and to other document requests, reviewing documents and preparing them to be produced in accordance with applicable policies, rules, and regulations.

Working Conditions - Office setting with work generally performed in a controlled indoor environment; sometime required to work in a warehouse or on jobsites with little or no climate control in hot or cold environments; walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading; some travel may be required, position is full time
