Job Title - Attorney Location - Montgomery, AL, on-site Rewards of Working at Caddell - Paid vacations, company paid holidays, company joint funding of medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability plans to full-time employees, 401k, gym membership reimbursement, and use of company condominiums. What You Will Do In this role, you will provide legal advice as needed for day-to-day business operations, engage and act as a liaison to outside counsel as required, as support the company's litigation efforts. You'll do this by:
Working Conditions - Office setting with work generally performed in a controlled indoor environment; sometime required to work in a warehouse or on jobsites with little or no climate control in hot or cold environments; walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading; some travel may be required, position is full time Reporting Structure - This position reports to the Chief Legal Officer What We Expect Education / Experience - Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and four years of experience in the practice of law required. Undergraduate courses with a focus on construction or engineering preferred. Experience in construction, contract, and/or employment law, also preferred. Certifications/Licenses - Current Alabama Bar Law license required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft software - Excel, Microsoft Word and Access. Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to perform legal research and have the skills of a licensed lawyer. While the salary range is typically between $100,000 - $150,000 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
