The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,000 - $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The SAP Project Systems (PS) Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Fiori applications. This role translates business requirements into scalable functional and technical designs while providing leadership across project delivery, system integration, and best practices.

The architect works closely with business stakeholders, leads workshops, and ensures that SAP PS solutions align with organizational goals and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design and implement end-to-end SAP PS solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop functional and technical blueprints for SAP S/4HANA-based implementations.
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and integration across SAP modules.
Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead full lifecycle implementations of SAP PS solutions.
  • Configure SAP PS components including:
    • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
    • Networks and Activities
    • Milestones
    • Cost Planning and Budgeting
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Project Quotations
    • Time Sheets and Goods Issues
  • Create and manage complex project estimates, forecasts, and budget reporting.
  • Integrate project variations into cost forecasting and revenue planning.
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
  • Conduct workshops to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Map business processes to SAP PS functionalities.
  • Develop process models to ensure completeness and optimization.
  • Support intercompany processes within SAP PS environments.
System Integration
  • Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as:
    • MM, QM, CO, PP, PM, EWM, SD, FI
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and process alignment.
Project Planning & Execution
  • Plan and manage project schedules using SAP Fiori Gantt charts.
  • Monitor project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Use tools like JIRA for tracking deliverables and reporting.
Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide production support including:
    • Break/fix resolution
    • Enhancements
    • Monitoring and testing
  • Deliver Level 4 support including global support coordination.
  • Train end-users and provide functional guidance.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Define and execute testing strategies:
    • Unit Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • System Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Develop test plans, scripts, and test data.
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field
Experience
  • 18+ years of experience in SAP, with deep expertise in SAP PS
  • Minimum 6 full lifecycle SAP implementations
  • Experience in S/4HANA implementation projects
  • Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) industry
Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • SAP Project Systems (PS)
    • WBS, Networks, Cost Planning, Budgeting
  • Experience with:
    • SAP S/4HANA
    • SAP BTP
    • SAP Fiori (including Gantt charts)
  • Integration expertise across SAP modules (MM, CO, SD, FI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of intercompany processes in SAP PS
  • ABAP knowledge (preferred)
Additional Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to design and execute test strategies
Other Requirements
  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills
  • Ability to deliver SAP training to end users
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)
