Description Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Melbourne, FL Employment: Direct Hire Industry: Defense and Space Manufacturing Compensation: $50-$65/hr. Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off). About the Opportunity: The Electrical Engineer designs and implements analog and digital embedded electronic systems to create new products meeting the client's program objectives. Responsibilities include development, and execution of assigned Engineering tasks. This engineer participates in initial product concepts, decomposition of functional and performance requirements, software/hardware design, integration, and testing. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Develop architectures from requirements or high-level specifications and communicate with multi-disciplined engineering. Participate in PCB layout and Design for Manufacturing activities. Engauge in full product lifecycle support for legacy products including bug fixes and feature updates. Work closely with Software, Electrical and FPGA team members to ensure new products achieve all Key Performance Indicators. Provide time estimates for all activities. Responsible for participating in the quality management system initiatives and adhering to all requirements. Responsible for performing other related tasks deemed necessary by superiors. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience with analog and digital electronic design. 5+ years of experience with embedded firmware and test bench debugging. What Sets You Apart: Master's Degree. Excellent history working with cross functional teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
