As a Security Officer Armed Foot Patrol in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed post at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following post orders for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
