As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a high-profile aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help support controlled entry procedures for personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
• Support incident reporting, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow post orders related to patrol duties, assigned equipment, and/or response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
